Our Story
Founded in 2009, Jesus Exaltation Church began as a small prayer group in Kampala, Uganda, with Bishop Isaac Shaasha and his wife Rose Shaasha responding to God's call to establish a church that would exalt Jesus Christ and transform lives through the power of the Holy Spirit.
From humble beginnings with just a handful of believers meeting in a small rented space, we have grown into a vibrant community of faith with multiple branches across Uganda and beyond. Throughout our journey, we have remained committed to our founding principles of biblical teaching, fervent prayer, passionate worship, and community outreach.
Today, Jesus Exaltation Church continues to grow, impacting thousands of lives through our various ministries, community initiatives, and leadership development programs. We are committed to being a light in our communities, reaching the lost with the gospel, and equipping believers for the work of ministry.

To exalt Jesus Christ through worship, establish believers through discipleship, equip them for ministry, and engage in evangelism locally and globally.

"God is always good and faithful. Myself, my wife and JEC Family began this journey of sharing the Gospel for more than thirty years. The Church was there after registered in November 2007 after I saw a clear vision from God that we needed to have an independent Ministry to serve our Lord Jesus Christ. Throughout we have worked with unity with fellow brethren and colleagues and have seen expansion to more than thirty churches across three Counties in Kenya. Our motto is to Exalt the Lord our God derived from Psalm 99:9. We do so through Fellowships, Social Evangelism, and discipleship.
